Tools: ArcGIS StoryMaps, ArcGIS Pro, Adobe Illustrator
This "scrolly-telling" piece featuring static web maps was the final project for the Graphic Design in Cartography course at UW-Madison. I leveraged appropriate cartographic visual variables to accompany a narrative about maternal mortality risk in Washington, DC. I used ArcGIS Pro to analyze census data. Then I used Adobe Illustrator to design maps and graphics for the ArcGIS StoryMaps platform.
